Our client, a recycling company based in Basildon, is seeking a person with a background in accounts to join their growing team as a part-time Accounts Assistant. Knowledge of Sage, Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger is essential. Microsoft Excel and Access knowledge would also be advantageous. You're responsibilities would include posting invoices in both Pounds Stirling and Euros, processing Purchase Ledger payments, reconciling accounts and filing invoices. Posting Sales Ledger invoices, cash and cheques recieved on Sage, chasing outstanding debts from customers, updating Incoming and Outgoing spreadsheets with invoices and filing Sales Ledger invoices. You will be updating Cashbook reconciliations daily and disembursing Petty Cash and reconciling the monthend. Flexible hours are on offer - 9am to 1pm, 10am to 2pm, etc, a mix of four mornings and one day - a total of 24 hours per week. This role is temp-to-perm. |
